Ludlow ladies played their last game of the season against Bloxwich 3XI this weekend.
Ludlow got off to a good start with plenty of shots on goal but took until the 20th minute when Naomi Burgoyne started off the tally.
Shortly after that there was a fantastic effort from Katie Donaldson but Bloxwich’s goalkeeper denied her the chance.
Just before half time Shaunagh Yarham fired the ball into the D for Leahana Parry to pickup and skilfully beat the keeper 1v1.
Bloxwich tried their luck but were denied the chance by the solid defence of Rachel Jones, Karen Hadley, Miley Aston & goalkeeper Chloe Jones.
The second half saw just one more goal for Ludlow coming from Ceri Thomas off a rebounded shot finishing the game 3-0.
Players of the match were Charlie Atkins & Shaunagh Yarham.
The ladies finish the season unbeaten, conceded the least amount of goals, scored the most amount of goals but come second in the table just 1 point behind fellow Shropshire side, Shrewsbury 2XI.
Both teams celebrate promotion to Division 4 next season.
